The MMY includes timely, consumer-oriented test reviews that provide evaluative information to promote and encourage informed test selection. To be reviewed in the MMY a test must be commercially available, be published in the English language, and be new, revised, or widely used since it last appeared in the MMY series.

PubMed indexes the MEDLINE database plus PubMed Central. MEDLINE is the primary database used for getting to the subject content of articles in medicine. Click on the "Get it @ Skelton Medical Libraries" button found with each abstract to link directly from the article reference to the full article for all electronic journals available at Mercer. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) Public Access Policy requires that the public has access to the published results of NIH funded research no later than twelve months after the official date of publication.  PubMed Central is the archive for these publications.

USMLE Step 1 and Step 2CK Kaplan Qbanks   Mercer University School of Medicine Year 1 Students receive access to the USMLE Step 1 Kaplan Qbank in January of their first year of Medical School. Mercer School of Medicine Year 3 Students receive access to the USMLE Step 2CK Kaplan Qbank in January of their third year. In January, an email will be sent to each Year 1 & Year 3 Medical Student with access information. Students in Year 1 will then have access for the next 18 months and students in Year 3 will have access for 12 months.. Students can practice USMLE-style questions in a test-like setting with Kaplan's Qbank. Students can quiz and time themselves by organ system and discipline. Students get to experience every question type. Once finished, students can review full explanations for every question
